David summers
SENIOR building services engineer

David Summers has recently joined CREATE to head up the in-house Mechanical Team, and offers a wealth of experience in all aspects of Building Services, HVAC and Energy Modelling which are all essential in the delivery of technical high performing facilities that CREATE seeks to provide its clients.

For 20 years David has been involved within UK based engineering where he has gained an extensive understanding of planning, designing and monitoring of Building Services that make buildings not only comfortable but also functional, effi cient and safe.

Working at a senior level his recent experience has principally been focused on lead roles within the private and public healthcare sector where he has been involved within a variety of complex schemes ranging from £1m - £450m.

His awareness of such complexities make it possible for him to apply design based strategies and standards to ensure that client expectations are suitably appraised, assessed and achieved accordingly to certify that specifi cations and deliverables can react to both changes in external conditions and the patterns of behaviour inside a space - both of which are constantly changing.

With intimate experience of the design process he has awareness of what it takes to ensure multi-disciplinary services are integrated into a building design from a very early stage, in particular, to meet demands that complex Health, Educational and Sporting facility projects call for.
