Tane joined CREATE in April 2024 as an Associate with over 20 year’s experience in Architecture in New Zealand, during which time he has worked on a wide variety of projects from Tiny Houses, Multi-units, Education, Commercial, Apartments, Hotels, Industrial and Sports Typologies.

Previously at Pacific Environments Architects Tane was Design Architect & Project Team Lead for key projects Sir Owen G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre, Hawkes Bay Regional Sports Park EIT Institute of Sport and Health, National Hockey Centre from inception through to completion and hand over.

Alongside this he has strong documentation skills and a range of experience with traditional building methods as well as Mass Timber, CLT, SIP and Modular units that may be utilised on projects. He uses this knowledge to inform the design of buildings that are functional and based on buildability while expressing an Architectural narrative.

Tane is located in Wanaka and regularly works on projects of various scales throughout NZ as todays communication and documentation systems allows for an integrated approach to Architecture from remote work locations.
